Thoughts on Today’s Reading

Grace, mercy and love from Christ to you.

No doubt, sin separates us from God. However, God does not leave us without hope. God has a great solution to the problem of human sin. There is no condemnation for those who believe and trust in Jesus. No condemnation! No guilt, no shame, no fear of God’s wrath! For all who believe, Jesus took sin’s condemnation upon Himself when He was nailed to the cross. We are forever grateful to and praise God for sending Jesus to pay the price for our sin. Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross means hugely to us personally.

With condemnation gone forever, we can live as God originally designed us to live as His children, reflecting Him. Salvation moves us from fear of judgment to freedom of living in grace! Now we believers live with an eye on this world but a steady focus on eternal matters. Because God provided the way to reverse sin’s death penalty, He leads us to live with passion for Christ in all we say and do. When we mirror who God is, we live as light amid darkness and help others to find their way to Him. (Inspired by BSF’s Study of Romans)
