19 And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts,

Those who fail to recognize the Bible as God’s true, inerrant Word regard Scripture as just another book. Treating and considering biblical accounts and the encounters of God’s ancient people as mere fantasy or taking God Himself as a fictional character is a grave error because it strips history of its ultimate meaning, reduces divine truth to human imagination, and severs humanity from its moral and spiritual foundation.

God has revealed who He really is — the one true, sovereign, almighty, holy, everlasting, creator God, who rules and reigns over all.
People who are indifferent toward or have disdain for the Bible trust in themselves and rely on their limited power. Without the Bible as an anchor, the conclusions of academic scholars and humanity’s most brilliant minds leave people greatly lacking and wanting.
