Grace, mercy and salvation from Christ to you.

The Bible shows us that God purposely worked through the Israel nation who struggled at most every point in their history. Through the flawed Israelite people, God sent His own Son to redeem their failures and bring hope. Israel’s story and our lives reveal one thing most clearly: we are flawed and need what only God can provide. We cannot comply with God’s standards. We cannot stay on course, even with God’s prodding. Christ came to secure the truth of God’s covenant despite human failure.

Even when we grasp infinite truth about God, we yield to pressure that seems stronger than God’s steadying hand. Ultimately, we need to remain constantly aware of our human frailty and God’s sufficiency. Recognizing God’s provision to pay the penalty for our sin and empower us to obey Him only humbles us before Him. He enables us to honor Him and serve others. We need not sugarcoat the truth or pretend to be strong. God knows our need and sent His Son to provide what we cannot achieve.
Let’s trust Christ and trust God.
