Grace, mercy and love from Christ to you.
Repentance from sin brings new freedom in Christ. The Holy Spirit reveals specific sin we need to acknowledge and address as we walk through life. God’s Word opens our eyes to recognize the many ways our desires and actions do not align with God’s righteous standards.
When we confess and repent from our sin, we immediately experience the deliverance Christ won for us on the cross. We are no longer paralyzed in sin’s deadly trap, awaiting deserved judgment. Instead, we share in Jesus’s resurrection and victory over sin and death. Repentance demonstrates God’s kindness to us!
