Thoughts on Today’s Reading

Grace, mercy and love from Christ to you.

When God’s Word deeply impacts His children and their sins are exposed, they tend to turn to God in repentance and experience overwhelming joy and are motivated to walk in God’s ways. As the Holy Spirit work within us to exposes our sin in the light of God’s words, He is not to overwhelm us with hopeless shame, but to call us to repent and confess our sins and experience God’s grace and forgiveness.

While believers await Jesus’s return, they continue to draw close to God, eagerly listening to Him speak through His Word. The Bible records Jesus’s finished work on earth and promises eternal life to all who trust Him for salvation. These truths do not represent dead facts but life-giving hope for God’s people. Jesus has come and will return to establish the new heaven and new earth with His eternally redeemed and saved people in resounding glory! Let us rejoice and be glad in Him! This reality is worth celebrating today and forever!
