Thoughts on Today’s Reading
Grace, mercy and love from Christ to you.
God empowers men and women of prayer with spiritual discernment to recognize the lies of Satan and avoid falling into sinful schemes. Satan’s unscrupulous methods know no bounds. But by staying vigilant and grounded in prayer, believers are equipped to identify and resist spiritual deceit. Let’s root in God’s truth, allow His Word to shed light into our life and our world, fill our mind with Scripture and recite and believe what is true about God, pray honestly and humbly for God’s help and stand with others who look to God for strength.
Believers overcome fear not because they are strong but because God is mighty. Let God’s people respond to every need with diligent prayer, a soft and empathetic heart, and bold action. God’s views the welfare of others much more than His own comfort or ease therefore let us also learn to serve God and His people with joyful obedience. Let’s entrust all things to God in His grace.
