Thoughts on Today’s Reading
Grace, mercy and salvation from Christ to you.
Faith and trust in God led many God’s people to committed prayer, and action for God’s testimony and purposes throughout the history. As to today’s believers of God, the physical and spiritual state of today’s world still impacts how we stand firm to express God. Do we allow our own comfort to blind us to the needs around us to testify God? How do we respond to brokenness that abounds at global, national, local, neighborhood, and personal levels to magnify God?
God deliberately positions His people where they can represent Him. And God often positions them through seemingly random life events, careers, or communities—to fulfill the divine mission of reconciliation and stewardship for His glory. By placing believers in specific spheres of influence, He uses them as living testimonies and practical extensions of His love to the world. Consider where God has placed you. What burden has God placed on your heart? How will you follow His lead and take action?
