to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

11 And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.— Revelation 12:9-11
And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
— Romans 16:20
Surely the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear Him, on those whose hope is in His loving devotion

Thoughts on Today’s Reading
Grace, mercy and salvation from Christ to you.
The abuse of power and victimization of people run rampant in our world, aligning with Satan’s vile agenda. How do God’s people respond to overt injustice and flagrant wickedness? Ungodly silence is not fitting for God’s people. Like He did for many of His people before, God calls us to think and live differently. God positions His people in places where they can make a difference. Even if the forces of evil seem overwhelming and our contribution in the fight for righteousness seems pitifully small, we should take action-whether by standing out in our attitudes or standing up and speaking out for God.
God might orchestrate opportunities and design your life to cause you to face dilemma, give you a most pressing burden, or position you to make a difference for our good and His glory. Let’s steward the twists and turns of our lives as God-given opportunities to work for God with obedient faith, spiritual sensitivity, and personal consecration. God not only offers us unique opportunities, but He supplies the courage, words, and steps we need to act in faith.
