Thoughts on Today’s Reading

Grace, mercy and love from Christ to you.

You might have the similar experience that when you pray for someone, and suddenly words come. And you know that didn’t come from you. You encourage someone and they say, “How did you know I needed that?”You show up to serve and you find strength you didn’t have before. That’s the Spirit working through you, and empowering you for mission. This world needs anointed people who walk in power because they have been with the Spirit. They don’t just know Scripture, but demonstrate that they carry hope into rooms darkened by despair.

God has filled us with His Spirit. We have everything we need to step into our callings. The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives in us. Are we willing to yield to move to activate what’s being placed inside of us. The Spirit empowers us for purpose and purpose always leads to transformation. When we surrender fully not just to His voice or His comfort, but also to His power. This kind of surrender doesn’t just change our day, but our destiny.
