Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
— John 14:6
Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life.
— John 5:24
21 His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your master!’
40 And the King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.’— Matthew 25:21, 40
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

Thoughts on Today’s Reading
Grace, mercy and love from Christ to you.
We long for living in God’s presence alongside His people. Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. The essence of eternal life, which begins for believers the moment they come to salvation through Christ, is to know the Father and the Son. Let people come to Jesus through faith, ask for His forgiveness, and receive the eternal life He freely offers. God has prepared a home for all His children in His presence forever. Believers’ present lives prepare and train them to dwell with God for eternity.
God is calling us to serve Him now. He graciously offers responsibilities in our families and communities and gives us gifts and talents to use for the good of others and to build up His kingdom. Faithful living and service equip us to reign with Christ in eternity. Jesus surrendered His life that we might dwell with God in the new heaven and new earth. Glorify God by living in complete surrender and utter abandon to His will. The surrendered life that glorifies Christ and witnesses to others makes us to say yes to the King of eternity!
