God knows we need Him and promises an eternal home where He will dwell with us as He intended. The new heaven and new earth consummate God’s plan unfolded to His people throughout the Bible. For example, Isaiah wrote of new heavens and a new earth as places of great rejoicing. From Genesis to Revelation, God repeatedly promise to dwell among His people. God’s people dwelling with Him achieves His ultimate purpose for us. God will accomplish His greatest glory and our greatest good when we experience eternal life.
