Grace, mercy and love from Christ to you.

When we ponder the incidence in Revelation 20 concerning Satan’s being bound in the abyss by an angel for 1000 years, our attention surely will be drawn to this angel and God’s mighty and absolute authority and power. Revelation 20 unveils the moment. What kind of angel can lock up Satan and silence him for 1000 years? This angel seized Satan, bound him, cast him into the abyss and sealed for 1000 years. It wasn’t Michael. It wasn’t Gabriel. it was an unnamed servant of God and that’s the staggering truth.

Satan‘s power is great, but it is not ultimate. Even the mightiest enemy cannot resist the command of God, who has myriads and myriads of angels) because it is not the strength of the binding angel that matters but the authority of the One who sends this unnamed angel. From this incidence, we know we can trust the God whose word commands every angel and whose authority rules over all powers of darkness. Let’s say Amen to it and declare the victory always and only belongs to our God!
