Thoughts on Today’s Reading

Grace, mercy and salvation from Christ to you.

Let’s be certain that we are convinced Jesus if the only way to God and the salvation. Jesus proclaimed that He is the way, and the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father God but through Him. Do you believe Jesus? Do you believe He is the only way to God? Or was He mistaken? Its there another way? Are there many doors or pathways to God? No! Jesus did not give room for any exceptions, but exclusively specified that He is the door and if anyone enters through Him, he will be saved. There are not multiple doors. Let’s remember salvation cannot be both God’s work and ours at the same time. It cannot even be 99% Christ and 1% us.

Salvation is 100% God’s free gift. Let’s rely solely on the work of Christ. There is no middle ground. It is not Christ plus anything. Peter proclaimed the there is salvation in no one else because there is no other name given among men by which we must be saved. We must be accurate with this most important message on earth because it’s a matter of life and death. The gospel has eternal consequences. Therefore we strive to be concise and clear with the gospel message we share with people.
