Thoughts on Today’s Reading

Grace, mercy and love from Christ to you.

Imagine the freedom of knowing that you don’t have to earn God‘s approval. Justification by faith freezes all the pressure of trying to be good enough for God. It invites us to rest in what Jesus has already done, to live in gratitude rather than guilt and to approach God with confidence rather than fear. So what does this mean for our lives today? Justification by faith doesn’t just change our relationship with God; it transforms the way we see ourselves and others.

Knowing we are justified should lead us to walk in humility, gratitude and joy. And as we experience this grace, we are called to extend it to others by sharing the message of God‘s love with those who feel far from Him and to remind them that they too, can find freedom through faith in Christ. If justification by faith is the heart of the gospel, then grace is the life blood that flows through it.
