Thoughts on Today’s Reading
Grace, mercy and love from Christ to you.
Jesus said it Himself when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth, not some truth, all truth, not just doctrinal truth but life decisions, timing relationships and directions. The Spirit isn’t just your guide; He is our every moment whisper. The Spirit is the One who sees around corners we don’t even know are coming and He speaks in ways tailor-made to reach us.
Sometimes He leads through scripture verses we’ve read 100 times that will suddenly grip us like it’s brand new. That is not coincidence. That is guidance. Other times it’s a holy uneasiness. We are about to move about to say yes to something and there’s no peace in us. You can’t explain it, but it’s real. That’s Him restraining us from the wrong door. Then there are moments when He settles one that defies logic and it overrides our fear and He says, “This is the way. Walk in it. “ That’s not our guts. That’s not positive thinking. That’s the Spirit that leads us into all truth prompting us.
