6 This is the Spirit He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7 so that, having been justified by His grace, we would become heirs with the hope of eternal life.
— Titus 3:6-7
But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in heaven.
— Matthew 10:33
11 This is a trustworthy saying: If we died with Him, we will also live with Him;
12 if we endure, we will also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He will also deny us;
— 2 Timothy 2:11-12
14 If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward.
15 If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire
— 1 Corinthians 3:14-15
if we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.
— 2 Timothy 2:13
Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking in the Spirit of God ever says “Jesus is accursed!” and no one can say “Jesus is Lord” except in the Holy Spirit.
–1 Corinthians 12:3

Bountiful supply of grace and mercy to you from Jesus Christ.
Believing and trusting in the Lord Jesus, NOT coming forward and making a public profession of faith is required for salvation. There is a fairly common confusion that one has to make a verbal public profession of faith in Christ in order to complete his/her salvation. Public confession merely confirms verbally what has already gone on in the privacy of the heart, but it is not a requirement for salvation. If this were required, Christ’s work on the cross to pay for our sins was not enough. Then to complete our salvation, we would need to add our imperfect work of public confession to His already perfect work of dying for our sins. Christ alone gained our complete salvation. Nothing more can be added to improve on what He did. It is true that before God at His judgment seat in heaven, we will either receive rewards for publicly confessing Christ or be denied rewards for denying Him, but testifying our initial faith publicly does not earn or ensure our salvation.
Though Paul in 2 Timothy said that if we died with Him, we will also live with Him, if we endure, we will also reign with Him and if we deny Him, He also will deny us, what Paul was saying is that He will deny us rewards, crowns or ruling authority for unfaithfulness but the Lord will never deny us entrance into salvation. Paul also ensured us that even when we are faithless, He will not disown or deny Himself or the salvation work He has accomplished for saving us. Even if after believing in Jesus Christ, we might become totally faithless, not willing to make a public profession of our faith of Christ, He would remain faithful to us, His believers, His children.
