Thoughts on Today’s Reading

Grace and joy from Jesus Christ to you!

Jesus came not to condemn the world but to save us. Faith is not a leap in the dark but reasonable trust in eternal truth. God calls us to have faith in Jesus, step into the light of His truth and rejoice in the amazing eternal gift from God—the forgiveness of sin and rebirth in His life. Since we have been born of water and the Spirit, God has given us the everlasting life through His Word and the mysterious working of the Holy Spirit.

Human beings are so precious that God Himself came to become one named Jesus! Jesus is God in the flesh. Through faith in Jesus, we believers are sealed with the Holy Spirit and promised an eternal relationship with God beginning immediately and continuing into the eternity. To believe in Christ is to believe He is the Son of God, He died to save us from sin’s penalty, and He was resurrected to be the Lord and Christ. This is what we were created for. Let’s always trust in Jesus Christ, lean on Him, love Him and flourish in His light. Amen!
