Thoughts on Today’s Reading
Grace and peace to you from Jesus Christ.
We often see people’s first encounter with Jesus results in belief in Him as the Savior, the Lord and the Messiah, the Christ. While other people question who Jesus is, the believers accept and follow Jesus with childlike faith. When we humble ourselves, turn and become like children, we “see” Jesus, the Son of God, and we may see and enter the kingdom of God.
Belief in Jesus, the One God sent, is the only way to know and understand heavenly truth. As we open our hearts towards Jesus, we can hear the Holy Spirit’s call for us to believe Jesus. Jesus, the Son of Man and the Son of God, came from heaven to reveal eternal truth. Through reading the Bible, we see Jesus taught with authority. Jesus alone came from heaven to declare truth about God, Himself and His kingdom. He invites us to acknowledge His divine essence as true Light and eternal Life and to accept Him as the true Savior for our lives.
